Comments: Since there are only Angelique and I, then it’ll be pretty easy to monitor what we’re both doing. We haven’t been slacking off, and since we’re rarely in our cabin, it’s quite clean. We just don’t like doing all the work at the same time, so…

Comments: So, the two of us aren’t very skilled with forging. I’m giving Pegasi riding 5, because Angelique wasn’t very fond of them. That’s pretty much it, since we’re children of Hades, these things are understandable.
Ria watched him and shrugged. “Well, whatever floats your boat. I mean, such trivial could distract us.” She said nonchalantly. “But if all you ever think about is how to stay alive, then your life has no meaning.”
“I’m sure he’s prone to making comparisons, but he’ll probably keep those to himself. She did mention that to me before, when we had this little chat at the infirmary.” She said, recalling their conversation. ”But you’re still not sure if she’s just your friend, right?” She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. “Awww, my best friend actually worries about me. I’m touched.” She mocked, but smiled genuinely. “Maybe she’s a bit of both?” She chuckled a bit.
Ria looked at him for a moment, then raised an eyebrow. “I didn’t really have to deal with it much, since he’s not exactly in camp. So I just acted as if nothing happened.” She shrugged. His question caught her off guard, since it was so sudden, but she did not show it.
"You and I both know that it wasn’t what I meant," He frowned at her, shaking his head once again.
"Really? You and Blanche actually talk…?" He raised another eyebrow at the revelation. "I’m surprised you guys got along, then. I didn’t think you’d be able to stand her bluntness…" He commented, looking at Ria’s bunk, a little messy, it was. "I’m pretty sure I know that she’s just my friend…" Nico smiled back at her. "Yes, I worry about you, Sparky. Now put a sock in it and give me some more popcorn." He said, reaching for the bowl. "That would make her… well, yeah. She could be a tsundere for all I know.” He shrugged.
"…But there’s this guy from Hypnos’ cabin that Blanche bought with her the last time we had DRT (Demigod Recruitment Thursday). He fit all the descriptions you had for him, I guess…" Nico trailed off, staring at her.
“So, what? You’re just gonna sit there and do nothing?” She could hardly believe that her best friend was fine with just standing by the sidelines and watching everything unfold in front of him.
“Okay, but it’s not like he’s actually going to use Blanche. Ugh, I don’t know anymore. All I know is that if he really likes Blanche, he wouldn’t want to hurt him in any way.” She sighed exasperatedly. “I know Blanche has feelings, and I know you don’t want her to get hurt or anything, and I know how much you care for her. If that’s the case then why don’t you just do something to protect her from getting hurt.” She paused and threw her head back and looked at the ceiling. “It’s not like my brother’s the only one who can hurt Blanche. I mean, Blanche could be a masochist, for all we know.”
"Of course not," He said, standing up to stretch his arms a little. "I’m going to stay the same and act as if nothing happened. It’s a waste of time to think about things like those when we’re living our every second in danger." He replied casually, shrugging.
"He better not… Well, I’m sure he won’t, but I doubt that he can avoid comparing her to his ex. Blanche doesn’t like comparisons, you see…" He told Ria, looking up at the ceiling as he exhaled. "We’re friends, that’s why I’m worried about her. Kinda like the way I worry about you." He looked away, flushing slightly, since he wouldn’t normally say things like that. "More like a sadist… Well, I wouldn’t know. How did you deal with your break up, again?" Nico asked her, recalling his best friend’s story about her ex.
Ria rolled her eyes. “Whatever.” She mumbled as she folded her arms across her chest. “Yes, you are. You didn’t told my brother to back off because you know she’s not yours and you don’t have the right to do that, but you still want to tell him that, don’t you?”
“No, no. I would kill him if he did that. My brother’s not as cruel as you think, okay?” She waved her hand dismissively. “By fixing him, I mean, maybe she could help him move on. You know, get over his ex.” She said, although she wasn’t quite sure it was possible right now. Ria knows how much Jason loves Reyna and until now he hasn’t gotten over their former relationship. “I should really stop talking about my brother’s past when you’re around.” She said and palmed her forehead. “I don’t know. Jason needs to sort a lot of shit out.”
"It’s your brother’s life, Ria, not mine. He can do whatever he wants, and I’ve got no right at all, to interfere. If he decides to go for her, then it’s all up to Blanche. I’m not forcing her to do something about it, though." He explained, throwing his can up and down.
Nico raised an eyebrow. “…That’s still the same thing, you know. If you were going to… well, use someone to move on, then it’s the same thing.” He replied, throwing the can of coke into the trash can. ”I dunno, Ria, Blanche isn’t as heartless like everyone thinks. She has feelings too, and I wouldn’t want to see her crumble like a line of dominos.” He stared at his hands, cracking his knuckles. “Why don’t you go ask your brother about it, then? I mean, you guys are tight.”
“That’s the most accurate thing you’ve said all day.” She chuckled as she drank the last of her coke. “I’d advise him, but he probably won’t listen. He’s my brother, after all.” She said, smirking a bit. It was one of their many common characteristics. “You’re really possessive, aren’t you?” She said nonchalantly as she threw the can at the garbage bin’s direction. The can hit the rim, but still went inside.
“Well, yeah. But it can also turn out for the better. There’s a very slim chance that Blanche can fix him. I mentioned about his ex? Tsk.” She should be a bit more careful when she talks. “You’re going to need a little more time to determine both of that. I mean, whether you like her and whether he likes Blanche like that.”
"What ever, at least I can admit my flaws." He chuckled, grinning at Ria. She didn’t really like admitting her mistakes and all that. "I’m not possessive at all. If I were possessive, then I would’ve told Jason to back off head on. Besides, she’s not mine, and nor do I want to know if she was…"
He looked at her frustratingly, since Nico didn’t know much about romance and shit that surrounded the field. “By fix him, you mean, use her as a rebound of some sort? Wouldn’t that hurt her…?” He furrowed his eyebrows and frowned. “Yeah, you mentioned it last time, Reyna, I think. Not my business, so I’m not asking… and… well, I’m pretty sure your brother’s made up his mind.”
“Why is it that whenever the two of you fight, you’re always the one at fault?” She raised an eyebrow, and drummed her fingers on the bed, despite knowing that it would make no sound. “Still. Jason liking Blanche is not a good thing.” Blanche would be giving him a hard time and she wouldn’t even have to try. Ria thought it was quite unfair. “I don’t think he’ll be making a move any time soon.” She mused. “So you fought because you wanted confirmation?” She asked as she took another sip from her drink. She didn’t say it, but she thought Nico was probably threatened by her brother’s feelings towards Blanche.
"Because I’m an idiot, I guess." He rolled his eyes again as he frowned at Ria. After all, it was Nico who wanted to be friends with Blanche and not the other way around. "Then, if it’s such a bad thing, then tell him to…oh, I don’t know, not think about Blanche or bother her? But that’s kinda selfish for me to say, since the dictator really likes his company." Nico finished his coke and popcorn, the can in his hand being crushed by it.
"It’d be better if he didn’t bother with it at all, in my opinion. You know, since his… er-ex, and all? Yeah." Nico knew about that. Ria’s tongue would often slip a few times. "I fought because I wanted… I wanted… I wanted to know if I did like her. Well…it didn’t work, so there." He looked at her. "You don’t think Jason likes her-likes her, right?"
“You guys fought? Well, I hope it wasn’t something as childish as our last fight.” She said. She would’ve punched Nico if that was the case. She dropped the topic, despite sensing that he was purposely holding something back. “Blanche is going to fuck my brother up even more now.” She clucked her tongue and shook her head. Her brother was already messed up and emotional as he is, and with Blanche barging in his life, it wasn’t going to help him get over his last relationship. “And, I’m guessing this is what you and Blanche fought about?” She said, putting the pieces together in her head.
"It was my fault, because I kept pushing something on her. I rest my case," He stated, taking another handful of popcorn and began to eat them slowly, one by one. "What do you mean? Blanche only likes Jason as her friend… I think," Nico looked at his feet and threw his head back on the bed as he looked at Ria. "We fought because she wouldn’t tell me clearly if she like-liked Jason or not. Besides, your brother has no intention of making a move on her anyway, so it’s totally out of my way." He explained, looking as his can of soda.
“Nico, you are such a bad liar.” She rolled her eyes. Something obviously happened, and Nico’s futile attempt to deny that wasn’t doing much to hide that fact. “Oh, I see.” She looked at him and wondered how he took the rumor. She knew that her brother would’ve taken his confrontation lightly, but he wasn’t so sure about Nico. He’s a little… possessive. “And…?” She asked, wondering how their conversation went.
"I’m not lying. But, I’m telling you this, we fought, but we’re okay now. It was a petty argument, I suppose." He added, waving his hand dismissively to drop the topic. He wasn’t sure if he even liked Blanche that way, so he didn’t want to tell his best friend just yet. “…Well, your brother didn’t deny the rumor. He said that he liked her, and she liked him back, and then he told me to drop the topic.” He explained, sighing as he glanced at her.
She grabbed a handful of popcorn and passed him the bowl. “I was watching for the umpteenth time. Besides, I want to know what happened between you and Blanche.” She said, crossed her legs as she plopped a few more pieces of popcorn inside her mouth. “Did you talk to my brother?” She asked.
"N-nothing happened between the two of us. Seriously, you’re still on about this?" He was caught off guard with the question, but chewed on his share of popcorn. "I’ve talked to Jason, telling him that we should Spar sometime, and I asked him if the rumor about him and Blanche were true…" He trailed off, drinking the coke.
“Sorry isn’t enough!” She shouted, angrily. She bit her lip. A sudden surge of guilt filled her body as she recalled the real topic of their conversation. The person Blanche has been attracted to after her affinity towards Will Solace ended. The person she’s been pondering of recently. She shook her head away from the thoughts and glared at Nico.
“We will speak of this to no one. You got that? No one, No one at all. And if the Dryads and Nymphs over here don’t shut up, I will shred their beings into leaves.” She added, threatening the voices she could hear behind them.
"I won’t, I won’t, I won’t." He repeated, frowning at her. "I’m really sorry. It’s all I can do. I can’t take it back now." I’m really sorry, Blanche. I tried my best to stop, but I couldn’t. My will’s too weak against you. Nico looked at the dryads that came running away from Blanche, and back to the blonde herself.
Ria took a sip from her drink. “Still, I don’t like it. It’s technically invasion of privacy.” She said. It was bad enough that the gods always knew what they were doing and talking about. “Is it wrong to actually bond with my best friend?” She said, raising an eyebrow.
"If you say so. Give me some popcorn, sheesh." He said, grabbing a handful of popcorn from the bowl. "I didn’t say it was a bad thing, you know. I’m pretty much curious as to why you would stop watching your favorite movie to talk to me about something." He shrugged. Truthfully enough, he was really curious.
“Shut up!” She shook her head violently, and a sudden rush of blood came pouring in to her head. It wasn’t out of embarrassment. More like out of anger. “You can’t just kiss me—you don’t do that! I’ve never been kissed by a boy, my whole life—I was saving it for someone else, and yet you steal it?! This is impossible! You can’t—You just—You can’t!” She exclaimed, throwing her rapier away as she clenched her fists as hard as she could.
Nico couldn’t speak a word. Not one. He wasn’t aware of her circumstances. He thought she had more experience in such a field than him. After all, she was pretty, and people would kill to date someone like her. But, again, he caught her in a bad moment. He caught her once again, in a fragile situation.
"…I’m really sorry. I really am. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry." He muttered, putting a hand over his mouth.
Ria plopped a few pieces of popcorn in her mouth and chewed as she opened the mini-fridge and grabbed two coke cans. She tossed Nico one as she sat down on her bunk bed. “I don’t know. They’re both lurking somewhere in camp.” She answered. “It’s better if they’re not here, anyway. No one to eavesdrop on us.” She added, opening the can.
"Thanks," He said as he caught the can in his hand and opened it. The dark-haired boy sat on the floor in front of the bunk and sighed. "Eavesdrop or whatever. There’s nothing to hide, Ria." He stated, rolling his eyes. "Anyway… You made me come here because?" He asked.
Ria pressed the DVD player and put the disc back in its case. She was halfway through (500) Days of Summer when she invited Nico to come over. After hearing from Nico, she was thankful that Jason was out. If Jason had not left the cabin, Zeus knows what will happen next. She turned the television off and Nico arrived just in time for the next batch of microwaved popcorn.
“Get inside.” She called out as she transferred the popcorn to another bowl.
"It’s good to see you too, then." He greeted as he entered the cabin. He saw Ria holding a bowl of what it seemed freshly made popcorn. "Where are your other siblings…?" He asked her, raising an eyebrow. The cabin was completely empty aside from the two of them.
It took Blanche a while to register what had just happened. It wasn’t until Nico parted from their contact that she regained her sanity, and if her cheeks could get even redder, then it would. She stared at Nico blankly, and at the next second, you would see Nico lying on the floor, a rapier pointed at his face.
“That. Was. Way. Below. The. Belt. Nico.” She panted, flustered, but she didn’t care. It wasn’t right. She wanted to share her first kiss with—-“Fuck you.”
Nico looked away from Blanche, who was pointing her weapon at him. Why. Why. Why did I do that? I don’t like her that way. It wasn’t supposed to happen. No. He thought, touching the tip of her blade as he moved it to his side, standing up to face her. “…I-I’m sorry. I don’t know why I did that. Believe me.”
